Jessica Shapiro, Past President, Yale College '06
Jessica has been active with The Yale Club of the Palm Beaches since 2017 by planning and hosting events such as the past five Feb Club Emeritus meet-ups, “Camp Yale” happy hour, and two Redpath Speaker events. As acting President, she spearheaded the club re-structuring and revitalization during 2021-2022 by handling the administrative formation of the new Club and leading all club meetings and initiatives. Jessica loves meeting local Yalies and bringing the South Florida Yale community together. Jessica is a real estate attorney in Palm Beach and earned her law degree from the University of Florida. At Yale, she studied Architecture and was a member of Yale Women’s Varsity Golf Team.

Matthew Bucklin, President, Yale School of Management '22
Matt previously served his last 2 year term as vice president. A recent Yale graduate, Matt was an on-campus representative and an active board member during our 2021-2022 transitional season. Matt manages all club social media (see links in footer below). He assisted with planning our Feb Club 2022 event and with scouting locations for other club events. Matt moved to Palm Beach County in 2017. Originally from Maine, Matt completed his undergraduate degree from Colby College and now lives in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Chloe Yee, Vice President, Yale College '18, Yale School of Public Health '19
Chloe is a new resident to the Palm Beach area and a new board member. In 2022, she helped the Club by spearheading the delivery of care packages to incoming Palm Beach County freshmen at Yale. She looks forward to planning events to bring together and connect those in our alumni community across all generations.

Destiny Nelson, Secretary, Yale College '19
Destiny has served as a volunteer board member for several years and has been a resident of Palm Beach County for four years. In 2023, she helped the Club organize Camp Yale which welcomes first-year students from Palm Beach County to the local community before heading off to New Haven. Destiny works on the Investment Team at a real estate private equity firm in Palm Beach County and studied Economics and Political Science while at Yale. She was also a member of the Yale Women's Swim Team.

Rick Reissman, Treasurer, Yale College '06
Rick has served as acting Treasurer during our transitional year. He was previously involved with the Yale Club NYC. A Palm Beach County resident for six years, Rick is a banker with JPMorgan Private Bank in Palm Beach. Rick was a member of the Yale Varsity Golf Team and Sigma Nu.

Jessica Paindiris, Past Secretary, Yale College '05
Jessica served as acting Secretary during the club’s transitional year, responsible for meeting minutes, database maintenance and club correspondences. Leveraging her marketing and entrepreneurial experience, she launched a new club website and upgraded the club’s email marketing during that year. A Florida resident since 2018, she maintains her club membership at the Yale Club of NYC where she lived previously. Jessica also serves on the Yale Alumni Fund Board of Directors and the FL Regional Advisory Group for Yale's For Humanity campaign. Jessica studied History of Art at Yale and lives in West Palm Beach with her husband and twin children.

January Romero Reissman, YAA Delegate, Yale College '06
January is the current YAA Delegate, representing the club at the Yale Alumni Association (YAA) Annual Assembly held annually in November. She has been active with the club since moving to Palm Beach County in 2016. January is a non-profit professional and holds a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from New York University. January looks forward to meeting other Yalies who move to the area and hopefully playing some more golf. She was a member of the Yale Women's Golf Team, studied Political Science at Yale, and resides with her family in Palm Beach Gardens.

Eli Giombi, Director, Yale SOM '04
Eli is a new board member and holds a certificate in risk governance from DCRO (Directors and Chief Risk Officers) Institute. He looks forward to helping with a golf tournament, tennis ladder, community yoga class, and/or community service activity.

Gary Kosinski, Director & Social Chair, Yale College '90
Gary has served as a board member since 2021 and has generously hosted the past two Redpath Speaker series with Professors Amy Chua and Akhil Amar. He aspires to have a positive impact on the Yale Community and improve public perception of Yale University in the eyes of the world. Gary was a member of the Yale Football Team, Yale DKEs, Yale ’90 Reunion Committee, and Yale Development Office. A member of Wake Forest Parents’ Council and Wake Forest Coaches’ Round Table, he is also involved in the local community as a former Board Member Bethesda Hospital and Sponsor and Vice-Chairman of the Navy Seal Foundation Benefit.

Becky Lightman, Director, Yale College '98
Becky has served as a board member for several years. As a past President of The Yale Club of Georgia, she has hands-on experience managing alumni activities. A resident of Delray Beach, she represents “South County” on the Board and handled all Book Awards in 2022. Becky has also hosted the Duke men’s a-cappella group on their spring tour. Becky is a financial advisor and founder of Lightman Capital.

Shannon Duff, Yale College '99 & Yale School of Management '05
Shannon was a member of the track and cross-country teams at Yale and also wrote sports articles for the Yale Herald. She enjoys cheering for the Bulldogs in all sports! She helped to plan the 2024 Yale accepted student event for the club and is also a member of the Yale Track Alumni Association. Shannon’s favorite YCPB events are happy hours, Feb Club, and a cappella events.oes here

Michael Jeong, Yale College '03
Michael has most recently served on the board of the Yale Club of Dallas prior to moving to Florida. He is also a graduate of Tufts School of Medicine and has worked in the healthcare investment industry for the past decade. He is dedicated to cultivating amity among alumni and the ideals of Yale.

Martin Correa-Perez, Yale College '23
Martin was the treasurer for his high school Latin Hispanic Heritage club and currently work as an associate banker at JPMorgan Chase. Martin supports the clubs finances and is the youngest member of the board.

David Flechner, Yale College '00
David moved to West Palm Beach in July 2024 after many years splitting time between New York City and São Paulo, Brazil (where he was an active member of the local Yale Clubs, including leadership on coordinating and managing sites for the Yale Day of Service). Before that, he was an interviewer for the ASC with the Yale Clubs of London and Paris from 2008-2012. David is on the Board of a non-profit organization representing LGBTQ+ asylees, and he has been on the oversight committee of the Vance Center for International Justice in New York. He loves his new role working in the clean energy sector with NextEra/FPL, and he looks forward to contributing to YCPB programming for social and professional events — particularly volunteer and community development opportunities.

Christina Carr, GSAS ‘05
Christina currently serves as the Yale Alumni Schools Committee Director for Palm Beach and Broward Counties, and she is a mentor with the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance. She is a former member of the ASC in Northern Virginia and Alabama and has mentored Yale undergraduate and graduate students. She also served as a board member and membership director for the Yale Club of DC. Aside from her involvement with Yale, Christina serves on the grants committee for Impact the Palm Beaches and the development committee for Lighthouse ArtCenter. Christina also holds degrees from Southern Methodist University and Harvard University.
